Back Alleys

This body of work playfully examines and highlights the traditions and freedoms of childhood and childhood environments which are rapidly disappearing. Graham believes Back Alleys contain the capacity to both intrigue and threaten, making them perfect stomping grounds and territories  for children, because they are undiscovered aspects of urban experience. Street corners and back alleys have an unique beauty that is a vital part of the urban landscape. They represent dormant community spaces that have the potential to offer many economic and social benefits.
